Neutron Scattering Study of the Fe-based Superconductors

Yiming Qiu
NIST

One of the most important discoveries in recent years in condensed matter physics is the discovery of high temperature superconductivity in iron-pnictides. A phase diagram very similar to high-Tc cuprates shows that the superconductivity appears with suppression of both magnetic and structural phase transition. Common features among these systems are the magnetic and structural phase transitions in the parent compounds, and a resonant peak in the superconducting materials. In this talk, the neutron scattering studies of the magnetic order and excitations of 1111 systems(LaFeAsO1-xFx, NdFeAsO1-xFx), 122 systems(BaFe2As2, Ba1-xKxFe2As2), 11 systems(Fe1+δTe1-xSex) will be presented.
