MSE Doctoral Graduate Earns National Honor

Jun Ouyang

Jun Ouyang, a recent doctoral graduate from the MSE Department, was honored by the Chinese Government with an award for Outstanding Research by a Graduating Chinese Ph.D. Student Studying Abroad. Dr. Ouyang was one of only 53 students throughout the U.S.A. to receive the award, and the only one at the University of Maryland. Dr. Ouyang's Ph.D. advisor was Professor Alexander Roytburd.
