Admissions
All Materials Science and Engineering majors must meet admission, progress and retention standards of the Clark School of Engineering.
Students who wish to study at the Clark School apply for admission to the University of Maryland; there is no separate application for engineering. When filling out the university application, you may choose materials science and engineering as your intented major. You may also apply as an undecideded engineering major. Undergraduate students living in the state of Delaware can now pay in-state tuition to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at the A.
